August 9, 43 miles to Monterey.
We cycled through extensive farmlands again today. Notably strawberries (the smell divine), artichokes (so we ate an artichoke omelette for breakfast), and brussel sprouts (a personal favorite).
We treated ourselves to Motel 6 tonight. Ahhh the luxury.
Monterey is overflowing with tourists for some world famous car show. If it were bicycles, we might hang around:)
